"I have been missing southern rock. Where did it go? THE TERRY ECKARD BAND is my new favorite southern rock band. They sound similar to Allman Brothers, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Marshall Tucker, ZZ TOP, and when Terry plays and sings the blues it's hard to keep a dry eye. Terry is a master gutarist and don't take my word for it.
This album takes me back to a time when I discovered how powerful a mix blues and boogie can be when done right. Terry has a solid, husky voice and is a terrific guitar player. The band is tight and could pass for any number of southern rockers. I hear plenty of Lynyrd Skynyrd and Allman Brothers, and ZZ Top all over the place, but I also hear the influence of plenty of others such as Mahogany Rush, Bachman Turner Overdrive and Robin Trower. The songs are all Terry's, though, and he offers up a fair variety of sounds and true life stories. The production is top notch too. This is not the kind of music I find myself turning to very often, but it's a very fun guy rock diversion, especially the instrumental sections". ~ https://www.amazon.com/ + http://www.crazywolfentertainment.com/display_bio.php?id=11049
