Ken Valdez is a native of New Mexico who recently moved to Minnesota and is tearing up stages in and around the Twin Cities with his well done brand of rock/soul/blues. Every Little Lie is Valdez' second independently released CD and a nice follow-up to his debut, Approach. If you like a Texas influenced blues-rock sound on par with the likes of Charlie Sexton, Doyle Bramhall III or Arc Angels, you should enjoy Every Little Lie. Valdez is a fine singer, songwriter and guitarist and his band, including Jeff Walker on bass and Issac Johnson on drums is very tight. The CD was produced by Muscle Shoals guitar great Wayne Perkins and recorded at Pacyderm Studios in scenic Cannon Falls, Minnesota.
