George Kamikawa began busking abroad in 1998 and later settled in Australia, pursuing his career as a professional musician. Strongly influenced by blues, he is a virtuoso on slide guitar and harmonica, and while delivering soulful vocals, he simultaneously plays the bass drum with his left foot and the drum pedals (tambourine, snare drum, and cymbal) with his right foot, creating a powerful, one-man-band sound that makes it hard to believe it's just one man playing five instruments. He has appeared in numerous international media outlets and was featured on the Japanese television program "Gutto Chikyuubin" as a busker active abroad.
He continues to busk and perform at international music festivals, concert venues, and even on luxury cruise ships. His work has gained popularity on YouTube, and his channel currently has over 250,000 subscribers.
