Ottomatic Slim & His Band: Two generations of rock and blues!
Psychedelic rock & blues harmonica virtuoso Ottomatic Slim (aka Otto Lenz) has teamed up with A-List rocker guitarist Johnny Bravo.
Both of these front-men are descendants of the late great Chicago gypsy swing guitarist Chick Johnston.
Slim has been featured nationally and internationally on both commercial and college radio stations.
Alex Henderson of American Music Guide wrote of the eponymous Ottomatic Slim release, “...illustrates Ottomatic’s ability to combine blues, rock, soul, and funk. . . “
The debut album by New England based harp master Otto Lenz and Ottomatic Slim features a souful mix of 10 blues classics and originals. A student of the legendary Howard Levy, Otto Lenz has surrounded himself with a crack group of musicians featuring the rhythm section of Ephraim Lowell (Johhny Winter, Monster Mike Welch, Johnny A) and Jeff Jacodson (Chuck Berry, Mitch Ryder , The Crystals) as well as a host of guest guitar slingers including Monster Mike Welch, Hal Benoit, Wildcat O'Halloran and Scott Monette.
