Steve Bailey and the Blue Flames have been a solid Seattle Blues Band since the early 1970's, and it's easy to see the by-products of all this experience. With a harp that is second to none, superior guitar (Doug Hearny and Tim Sherman) and a set that absolutely hammers out poundin' blues in all forms - this CD defines "smokin'". The bands trademark is it's intensity and it is well represented on this record. Hard to imagine that a live performance could be more engrossing than what is captured on this fine studio recording. Hard-drivin' and classic blues for those who like plenty of energy in their music. Gets a solid recommendation from us!
