PD MARTIN (aka Piet Vercauteren), born in 1984, became obsessed with the guitar at the age of 12. Since then he has played in all kinds of bands, immersing himself in a wide variety of musical styles (rockabilly, hard rock, blues, bluegrass,…). At the end of 2019, he decides that the time is right to write his self-written songs, as a singer-guitarist, into the world and form his own band.
What starts as a straightforward power trio grows into a funky blues 'n soul quartet. Strong compositions that go much further than the classic twelve bars, a tight rhythm section, witty lyrics and virtuoso keyboard and guitar playing are the trademark of this exciting band.
