No Saint (Sipke Visser) and guitarist Rik Meijer bonded over a shared love for honest roots music. What began as a chance encounter in a bluegrass band quickly evolved into a close musical partnership, resulting in a collection of original songs. Their music moves effortlessly across the realms of blues, rock, country, and Americana. No Saint’s dark, distinctive voice, paired with Rik’s soulful, energetic guitar playing, creates a sound that is both raw and compelling. Drawing inspiration from artists like Johnny Cash and the rich tradition of blues and roots music, they deliver songs that come straight from the heart.
While they were joined by talented musician friends for their studio recordings, their live performances focus entirely on the power of the song, the energy of their interplay, and the stories behind the music. Expect an authentic blend of blues, rock, country, and Americana—delivered with conviction, passion, and no unnecessary frills.
No Saint & Rik Meijer guarantee a performance full of character, atmosphere, and pure roots music—perfect for those who appreciate genuine stories and music with soul.
