This Tuesday (27), guitarist Cris Ferreira releases *Mood Swing*, an instrumental album that brings melodies, timbres, and atmospheres to the forefront. Known for a sound influenced by the blues, the musician traverses diverse musical landscapes without ever straying from his core identity—a body of work that bridges tradition and the contemporary.
Recorded in Florianópolis during the pandemic, the album was born out of the emotional fluctuations of that period. The title—which translates to "change of mood"—also encapsulates two concepts central to musical language: "mood," associated with the atmosphere and sensations evoked by the music, and "swing," which suggests rhythm, movement, and groove
