This CD from Terry Davidson & The Gears, will have you running from Columbus to Chicago, Memphis, Austin and even a little side trip to the county fair. It presents an accurate representation of their wide range of styles and influences, even including elements of Jazz and Surf music, and a Stones inspired boogie. The creative chemistry between Terry, Todd and “The Wrench” is highlighted by the fact that 12 of the 14 tracks are band originals. The guitar is astounding (showcasing Terry’s, trademark, clean fret work with some gritty slide as well) and rocks to the max. Also, Ray Fuller is a welcome addition on harp! Clever word play and inspired playing by all.
