Anna Marucha & The Taxi Blues Band is one of the original projects of singer Anna Marucha, also known under the pseudonym Sally.
The album "Taxi Blue" is the culmination of several years of the singer's work on the studio material, of which she is the author and producer.
The album will contain 10 songs maintained in chill-auto-blues climates, with modern sounds and effects. "... The music is perfect for night escapades around the city, for a party in tariff, for all parties, especially after parties and party voyages in club and blues rhythms..."
The following took part in the recordings:
Anna Marucha - vocals, back vocals,
Leszek Jakubczak (Crossroads, Why Ducky?, JJK) - guitar,
Hubert Miziolek - bass
Paweł Markiewicz (Ewelina Flinta, Winners of Certain Oscars) - drums,
Agnieszka Marucha (Polish Duo, Trio Galant, Trio Ardito) - violin.
Guest musicians on the album:
Michał Przybyła (Marika, Fatum, Sticky Fingers, Stawarski Quartet - bass ("Think"),
Grażyna Marucha - cello("I've been thinkin'","Sugar")
Anna Marucha - also known under the pseudonym Sally, made her debut in the media as the leader of the Lips band with the Led Zeppelin cover "Whole Lotta Love". The song stayed on the Polish charts for a long time - for several weeks it stayed in the golden three of Radio Kolor, next to T.Love and Kult. Lips has recorded two full-length albums. He has been a guest in many music programs of National Radio and Television Stations: Radio Kolor, Radio S, Radio Trójka, Radio Bis, Radiostacja, Radio For You and others as well as TV1, TV2, Polsat, TV Polonia, VN.
The next musical stage was an acoustic line-up called Sally. Together with session musicians (M. Grymuza, M. Dabrówka, F. Sojka), Anna Marucha recorded a long-playing album for Wytwórnia BMG Poland, which was promoted by the single "Akacja". The very good reception of the song by the listeners meant that the song was played throughout the country by most radio stations.
