After meeting at Pennsylvania's Pocono Blues Festival, New Orleans' Bev Conklin (BC) and Maryland's Lea Gilmore immediately bonded together with a common goal: Lea wanted to sing the Blues and Bev wanted to sing gospel. Their first joint performance in 2004 at the world-renowned listening room, Godfrey Daniels in Bethlehem, PA, led to a return invitation in 2005 for a sold-out show. This recording captures some of their memorable moments both individually and together backed by Bev's band, BC & The Blues Crew, and Lea's accompanist, Eric Byrd.
