One of the band's founders, Uni Reinert Debess, is a musician, poet, composer, singer, and guitarist. He was born on November 24, 1979, in Havn. Uni is the son of Per Debess, also a musician.
Uni began his musical career late in life. From 1999 to 2001, Uni studied music and guitar at the Tórshavn Music School. Since then, he has attended various guitar classes.
In 2001, he played with the band Teir at a free concert in the Faroe Islands. In 2002, he played at an Easter concert with Bates Motel, in 2003 with Headache Blues Treo, and in 2004 with GoGo Blues.
Won the Føroyar Prize with GoGo Blues.On April 23, 2005, he won the Føroyar Prize as a member of GoGo Blues. In addition to winning the concert competition, GoGo Blues received the Best Group award and were also invited to the G! ​​Festival. In August of that year, he and GoGo Blues traveled to Canada and performed at various festivals. GoGo Blues released the album Face to Face With the Devil in 2005.
