GUNN is a progressive blues/rock act based in Calgary, featuring the musical talents of Greg Gunhold, Brock Gillis, Gary Weiss, and Raymond Gassi.GUNN’s first CD sold out in its first weekend, and was featured extensively locally on CKUA, and internationally, specifically in California. With the success of their first album emboldening their music, GUNN is now working on its second CD with much anticipation in Calgary’s blues community.
GUNN has performed on major stages in Calgary, including the Blues Can, Mikey’s on 12th, Ironwood, Shamrock, Marda Gras, Taste of Calgary and The Calgary International Bluesfest.
We are all part of family, whether global, nuclear, loving, close knit, far flung, estranged, chosen, lost, unknown or any other of countless forms. Love, loss, longing, abuse, abandonment, neglect, separation, manipulation, betrayal, isolation, murder. All part of the human condition. The songs on this album are true stories.
