Dave Chappell, a Washington, DC native, is one of the most sought after and respected musicians in the area. For the last several years, he has won the Washington Area Music Awards (WAMMIES) for 'Musician of the Year', 'Rock Instrumentalist of the Year', and 'Roots Rock Instrumentalist of the Year'.  Dave will be inducted into the 2026 “Maryland Entertainment Hall of Fame” on  June 28, 2026.
He has performed with Rock and Roll Hall of Fame legends Jerry Lee Lewis, Sam Moore of Sam & Dave, Percy Sledge, Johnny Johnson, and guitar wizard, Danny Gatton. Guitarist Dave Chappell is highly regarded by both his musical peers and by fans in the DC area coaxing a huge range of sounds out of his trademark Fender Telecaster.  
He  has been fortunate enough to  play with some of the finest musicians in the country and has been featured on a number of CD's recorded in the DC area.
