There are some opportunities that one cannot afford to miss - they must be seized. WES, The Power Trio, a band made up of three power musicians fresh from the New Orleans music scene have it all: a mixture of rock, Rhythm & blues, Blues, Reggae and Funk. Three musicians, bassist Ron Wesley, drummer Paul Benko, and the guitarist with the elusive initials V.C., have already opened for and jammed with such famous names as Johnny Winters, James Cotton, David Bromberg, Tab Benoit, and Lonnie Brooks. Having played their own special brand of music for over half of the world, they break out of the traditional jazz mold. In order to provoke audience participation and have that 'Black Feeling' permeate the listeners, they aim directly at the gut of the public through the use of their sweeping rhythms.
