The Sugar Darlings are a Montreal-based band delivering a dynamic blend of Blues, Soul, Funk and Rock ’n’ Roll. The band first made its mark moonlighting in Montreal’s underground blues and swing dance scene in 2020, before establishing itself on the Quebec festival circuit. Fronted by the charismatic Miche Love, the band delivers soulful vocals and an exciting live performance that has captivated audiences across Canada, balancing the spirit of classic soul and blues with a contemporary, high-energy live experience. Their punchy arrangements and danceable blues numbers have made them a natural fit for festival stages, including the Festival International de Jazz de Montréal and the Tremblant International Blues Festival. The Sugar Darlings feature Kaven Jalbert (Dawn Tyler Watson, Ben Racine Band) on saxophone, Neil Robinson (Sarah Vanderzon, Etienne Fletcher Music) on bass, and Justin Saladino (Justin Saladino Band) on guitar, bringing together a versatile ensemble of seasoned Montreal musicians. Their debut album, Thirsty For Your Love, was released in 2023. The Sugar Darlings are poised to release their sophomore album, Sugar On Top, in autumn 2026.
