"To Bring to Light is typical old sounding 70’s rock and blues rock album with edges, like I use to say. If you like the Black Hole Raven album, especially for those bluesy and classic 70’s rock moments, then you probably like this one, too.My solo stuff tends to be a bit more melodic…and when I drank enough Whisky even a little bit more melodramatic"
"To Bring to Light" has its roots in the 70's where guitar solos, strong singers and NOT overproduced albums were "en vogue". It has also a good portion of drity Blues moments.
Mr Rock is doing almost everything alone and you might know him for his great work with BLACK HOLE RAVEN, where he sings and plays guitar and writes the songs. Their debut in early 2016 surprised a lot of people out there and they received great feedback from around the world.
"To Bring to Light" is a little bit more melodic, with deeper or lets say occasionally different song structures, though you can immediately here similarities between both bands. Well, just listen to these god damn guitar solos or the track "Black Hole Blues". People who love solos will be more than pleased. No doubts. And Mr. Rocks voice is also very unique and stands out like his guitar playing style. This album has been recorded a couple of weeks before the sessions of Black Hole Ravens debut. Two other songs have been recorded one year later and after a while the album is finally finished and released by German underground label "ContraMusikProduktion", who has released Black Hole Raven's debut, too.Produced again by Underground "hero" Ralf Rabendorn, who is some kind of twin to Mr. Ralli Rock.
