The contemporary Blues album was recorded and mastered in Las Vegas at The Tone Factory with engineer Vinnie Castaldo. Dick Earl’s Electric Witness showcase their original brand of “High Desert Blues" with this thought-provoking album.
Electric Witness is the result of four decades of living the blues, loving rock n roll, and learning life’s lessons by leaning on his faith. The man and musician behind the music is Dick Earl, an artist whose work has been described as “honest and strong, from the depths of a true bluesman’s soul.”
Dick Earl, found out that he needed brain surgery in 2008, due a condition called Chiari. He was losing his ability to perform, and no one was sure if Dick's unique harmonica sound would return to the stage post-op. Fortunately, it was a speedy and successful road to recovery for Dick. Since then he has rededicated himself, and feels even more drive to perform and share his music.
Dick Earl has been spreading the love for blues for decades with his raw vocals, solid guitar styling, and stirring harmonica, "from the depths of a true bluesman's soul." (KTIM Radio)
With Isaac Ericksen, Mari Ericksen, and Thomas Anderson, Dick Earl's Electric Witness showcases a rhythm section that is second to none that has won notoriety on the Utah Blues Festival stage (2023) and beyond.
