F&G Blues Band has something other bands don`t...they have Edlene Hart! Two time Winner of Harlem`s famous Apollo Talent Contest, Edlene has toured the world, performed for the Pope, Tony Bennett, Isaac Hayes and more. To say that her voice can bring the strongest man to his knees is an understatement. Sly Geralds (bass/bandleader/songwriter) has performed with Al Green, Maceo Parker, Slam Allen, & Bill Perry to name a few. Drummer Tom Foschino has performed and recorded with Blues Legend Sam Bluzman Taylor for several years before Sam`s passing in 2009. Chuck Russell, one of NY`s tastiest guitarists, brings his own edge to the blues and perfectly rounds out this new found sound known as F&G...some say F&G stands for funk & groove, some use expletives to describe how good this band makes ya feel...but, it means Foschino/Geralds. Suzanne Foschino and Sly Geralds formed this band around the music they`ve written together with the ultimate mission of turning the blues world on it`s ear...mission accomplished.
