Decius Caetano, most Blues guitarist from Brazil, has performed at several festivals including the Island Blues Festival in Long Island-SP, played in Buenos Aires, ARG!
From the cotton capital of Paraná, one of the most important revelations of Brazilian blues emerged: guitarist Decio Caetano. Decio Caetano discovered blues on a train trip when he met several people who were on their way to the International Blues Festival in Ribeirão Preto. Through this trip, he fell in love with blues and began his musical career. Decio, in his early days, was inspired by God and it was in the spiritual that he began his career, having released 2 CDs “Times Of Refrigery” and “The Blues In The Rivers Of God”. But blues has so many aspects that Decio sought to show on the CDs “Come Back To My Arms 2005” and “I Can’t Stop 2006” so that other people could listen to, get to know and be enchanted by his work. In fact, Decio is known in countries such as Chile, Argentina and Peru as “El encanto Del Blues”, a title given by magazines specialized in the subject. Such recognition resulted in the recording of two CDs in Buenos Aires, “Live In Buenos Aires 2008” and “Live In Buenos Aires 2010” (the latter also became a DVD), and a CD in Lima, “Live in Lima Peru 2010”. After his participation in the formation of the big band Solution Orchestra, winner of the award for best band at the Heineken Blues Curitiba festival, where he recorded the CDs “The Soulution Orquestra 2006” and “30 anos sem Elvis 2007”. Decio gained a greater opening in the music scene.
