Singer songwriter and musician Lynn Murray currently resides in Los Angeles, CA.After several years of hibernation on the musical front he has resumed songwriting and has produced and is in release of a new album of ten original tunes titled “Target the Blues”. His past recordings with Antique Records, legendary Texas guitarist Slim Ritchie’s Flying Fish Records and the unreleased album; Tulsa County Home, comprise an interesting and eclectic mix of Rock, Blues and Country flavored songs that have received recognition via the Music City Song Festival, and Billboard Song Competitions. The recent addition of his 2010 release of “Target the Blues” on Clear Creek Records has garnered an impressive eight certificates of recognition from the 2010 Billboard Songwriting Contest. An accomplished bassist/guitarist and singer/songwriter whose live music career spans 3 decades, has shared the stage with the likes of Papa John Creech, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Asleep at the Wheel, David Alan Coe, Hank Thompson, Ernest Tubb and many others. As a former member of the legendary Oklahoma Thunder Band, he authored a regional hit single with the release of Antique Records “Freight Train” in the Tulsa market in the early ‘80’s.
