Big Joe Hunter is a blues guitarist and vocalist from the Picardy region of France. His music spans blues, rock, and roots genres. He draws inspiration from the legacy of early Mississippi bluesmen and Native American culture. Festival descriptions characterize his performances as a journey along Highway 61—the "Blues Highway"—incorporating elements of boogie-woogie and improvisation. His only known album is titled *The Rabbit Huntress*.
