Chicago guitarist and vocalist Jamiah Rogers presents twelve tracks on ‘Chicago Cowboy: South Side Stories’, his first full-length album for Delmark Records. The release will be available digitally, on CD and LP. Rogers handles the vocals and guitars, supported by Isaiah “Zay” Horne on bass and Tyvon “Tank” Rice on drums. Larry Williams plays bass on Comin’ For Mine, while Amyna Love appears on I Know You Gotta Go. Most of the material was written by Rogers. The album also includes two blues bonus tracks, Leave My Little Girl Alone and Tell Me What I Say. Several songs have already appeared as singles, including the title track, Mojo Man and Comin’ For Mine.
The album was recorded, mixed and mastered at Delmark Riverside Studio by Julia A. Miller and Elbio Barilari. Miller also oversaw the executive production, with Jamiah Rogers serving as associate producer.
