Rich Hope (born Edmonton, Alberta) is a Canadian guitarist, singer-songwriter, and performer whose style is influenced by blues and rock .
Rich Hope ignites the soul the way only good roots rock ‘n’ roll can, like fine campfire whiskey, and haystack sex.
Stuart Derdeyn of The Vancouver Province writes:
"Shake This Joint Around” is the most direct introduction to an album to come since ZZ Top tore through “Thunderbird” on Fandango. The comparison is a fair one, too.
Toss in a bit of Johnny Winter, Humble Pie and Mick, Keef and the lot and you’ve got this no-frills trio’s touchstones. But there’s so much more. A searing guitarist with a ragged snarl, Hope can croon high-lonesome, too (“Love or Death”, “Boxcar”).
Wherever his beautifully crafted tales take him, the band beats with a pulse as steady as a piledriver, rolling forward like a lone freight across an endless prairie.

"Live Blues" - Jubal Kane (leader Long Distance Call Blues Band) has assembled 13 lucky blues tracks on  "Live Blues" record that is as honest and pure to blues roots as you can get. The harmonica sizzles with passion, slightly distorted and right - the vocalist ain't pretty. .just soulful and sad - the guitar expresses despair to our joyful experience. The band is really the finest blues we've got here on earBuzz - a throwback to the days when Peter Haycock, old Fleetwood Mac, and Muddy Waters were first recording their bare and intimately raw blues. For contemporary blues lovers - there is a taste of Stevie in the up-riffed lead parts. The opening track, "The Other Side of Town", is a boogie showcase of harp. Track 3, "Taildragger", is medium tempoed and laid back. Track 5, "Help Me", is a green onionish groove. Our favorite track is "Willie Brown Blues" - and it's probably because we're in the SF Bay area. . .upbeat mover. The final track, in its rightful place, is the slow slow blues number, "Buckwheat's Blues". the guitar is over the top acrobatic blues love. The record is a must for any classic lover of soulful blues rock. - Earbuzz.com

Our new CD of origional songs has been out for about a year and has sold in 12 countries. We are continuing to write new songs for our next CD. We have also played many benefits for the St. Judes Childrens Cancer Hospital. and the Veterans admin. We play music by such greats as Eric Clapton, The Doobie Brothers, Allman Brothers, Los Lonley Boys, Molly Hatchet, Z.Z. Top B.B. King and many many others. We have three sets of sound equipment to service venues from small rooms to outdoor events. We use Mackie boards, Peavey speakers, and QSC amps, The drums use Shure mics, and vocal mics are Shure 58 wireless and AKG. Kenny Moore is from Eden, N.C and has been playing guitar for more years than he wants to remember. His smooth rhythums help cement the sound of the band.
Matt Williams on lead guitar was born in Long Beach N.Y., and grew up in Vermont near the base of Killington. He moved back to New York when he was 17 and at the age of 20 moved to North Carolina. Matt is now 24 and has been playing guitar since the age of 15. He cut his teeth on classic rock bands like Led Zeppelin, Guns & Roses and Alice in Chains. He later found himself drawn to the blues. He studied everyone from T Bone Walker & Robert Johnson to Buddy Guy & SRV. Matt was self taught, and playes by ear. He decided to spend a few years studying classical music in the styles of Bach, Beethoven, Paganini and Andres Segovia to learn theory and structure behind music. For a while Matt wrote & played instrumental pieces and followed the works of great guitarists like Steve Morse, Satriani, and Steve Vai. It seems that his music has come full circle . (Or maybe we should say Floydz Circle). While his technique and aspirations fall in the classical relm of music, his heart identifies with the simpler tones of the blues and the gain driven sounds of rock & roll. He has been a great addition to the sound of the Floydz Circle Band.
Virginia Masius started playing bass in the suburbs of Chicago, where she grew up. She moved to North Carolina in 1982, and attended Eastern Carolina Universtiy, then North Carolina School of the Arts, where she earned a bachelor's degree in 1991.
She currently plays with the Greensboro Symphony, the Salisbury Symphony, and the Josh Preslar band. She has played in countless musical productions, with the latest being the Full Monty in July 2007.
Her other claim to fame is ten years with the Ladies Auxiliary Blues Band. Virginia has also recorded with various singers/songwriters, and has held a teaching position at the Music Loft in Greensboro, N.C since 1997.She has been a great addition to the band both with her bass, and her vocals.
Michael Bolejack started playing drums at the age of five. He began listening to jazz at a very early age. Mike grew up in Reidsville, N.C. and started playing local clubs at age 12 where he got into rock & roll and R&B. At 19 he preformed with country great Ronnie Milsap. thru his career he has performed with such greats as Chuck Berry, The Outlaws, Earl Thomas Conley, Channel 9, Street Feet, and Buzzy Meekins formally of Molly Hatchett. He has most reicently been touring & recording with Russian Pianist Yelena Eckemoff. He has also done studio sessions fo the past 20 years with Saltmine Productions for television, Radio and films. Mike is a welcome addition to the band, and fills out our sound.
Keith McMannes handles the lead vocals. He started his career at the age of 14 in and around Cleveland Ohio. Thru the 60's he played Motown with a group called the Riots throughout Ohio. He sang with Donnie Dunn for four years, and has been singing with the Floydz Circle Band for the last 14 years. Keith started writing songs at about 14 and recorded his first single at 15. He has written the lyrics for the Floydz Circle Bands CD titled Yonder Goes A Madman, and continues to write for the next CD. For several years Keith worked on music videos for The Times, The Drifters, and Little Anthony. He is happy to once again be on the other side of the camera.
All members assist with back-up vocals to round out their full, rich sound" ~ The Bash.com, 2006 years.

 5. My Baby Said Love - 4:29

Jason 'Lil Jay' Ladanye started playing piano and guitar at age seven. Even at such a young age, he became interested in blues and jazz styles. Influenced by guitar players like B.B. King and Albert King, and keyboard players like Reese Wynans and Lee Michaels, Jason developed a unique aggressive style of playing. When Jason was fifteen, he joined his first touring band, Ernie Williams and the Wildcats. Jason worked with Ernie for four years with frequent trips to New York City, Chicago and Boston. While working with Ernie, he recorded one live and three studio albums. It was during this period he first became recognized on the upstate New York music scene. He also spent some time playing with the Capital Region's Tom Healey Band, with whom he still occasionally appears. When he turned nineteen, he teamed up with Houston guitarist Vince Converse to record One Step Ahead, produced by Eddie Kramer, former producer and engineer of Led Zepplin and Jimi Hendrix. After relocating to New Orleans, Jason toured nationally with Vince for over a year. Jay has toured with the Grammy-nominated, W.C. Handy Award-winner, Shemekia Copeland for four years. He plays opposite legendary producer, Dr. John, on Copeland's third CD, Talking to Strangers, released in 2003. While on the road, Jay frequently would share bills with legendary guitar players. It was only a matter of time before he could duplicate the styles of these masters. Jason has studied the styles of T-Bone Walker, B.B. King, Buddy Guy, Albert Collins, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Albert King and Michael Bloomfield. He has toured with Al Green, B.B. King, Buddy Guy, Jeff Beck, Jimmy Vaughan, Tab Benoit, Elvin Bishop, Scott Holt, Mason Casey, Arthur Neilson and many more legendary players. He has recorded with Leslie West, of the band Mountain. The exposure to these players has given Jay an education that couldn't be taught in any college. Now, Jay has his own band, Lil Jay & the Cardsharks. He's released his debut CD, called appropriately, Lil Jay & the Cardsharks. It offers eight of Jay's funky original tunes that feature his incredible piano, organ and guitar playing. With the release of this CD, he steps out front, adding vocalist (and songwriter and bandleader) to his already formidable resume as consummate sideman. Lil Jay & the Cardsharks was recorded in 2004 at Arabellum Studio in Colonie, New York, and features Steve Aldi on bass and Andy Hearn on drums. Making guest appearances are Arthur Neilson, guitarist for Cindy Lauper and Shemekia Copeland, on upright bass and Charlie Vatalaro on sax. With the release of Lil Jay & the Cardsharks, Jason is revealing, and fulfilling, the depth of his talent. Remember the name: Jason Ladanye.

The lineup of the band includes Tom Stafford on guitar and vocals, Steve Bishop on bass and vocals, John Seever on harmonica and Curt Fields on drums.
Original Memphis Music is our distinction. We take the blues and bring it into the 21st century, combining Memphis R&B influences with Delta sensibilities and Texas tones. We're not just another cover band, because we dedicated ourselves to writing and recording. We play other people's music when we take dates on Beale Street, but we mix our own material into every set. We have 3 lead instruments, so the musical gymnastics are always interesting.

Dustin Douglas & The Electric Gentlemen are back with their highly anticipated new album, “IV” out 6/6/25 via MoMojo Records.
“IV” the fourth studio endeavor from Dustin Douglas & The Electric Gentlemen is a raw, unapologetic, Blues-Rock Master course; a powerhouse album drenched in whiskey-soaked riffs and soaring Rock n’ Roll vocals that once again display Douglas’ meteoric rise as one of the heaviest hitters in the Blues-Rock world.
From the southern rock stomp of “Long Gone,” the sleazy, 70’s growl of “Dangerous Game,” the Petty inspired “Drunk and Alone” and the Gilmour meets Page “Missin” You,” the nine tracks on “IV” bleed with passion and pain while burning with a fire of Douglas’ signature guitar sound and The Electric Gentlemen’s thunderous supporting rhythm.
“IV” is a testament to the unrelenting spirit of Rock ‘n’ Roll.
