Attention, atypical group. The Saucers draw their blues from the Gulf of Mexico and more particularly from Louisiana. A repertoire comparable to a gumbo, a spicy mixture based on zydeco, rock'n'roll, funk, groove, cajun, swamp; all these musics that flooded the radios and fais dodos of the region in the 50's, all essentially focused on original compositions. Their credo, to make sure that each evening brings the public to dance and party, that they do not attend a concert but become one of the actors. Crowned with numerous distinctions since the creation of the combo in 1997, backing band for certain US headliners on European tour, present on most of the stages of the French blues circuit, the Saucers are still riding the wave of their remarkable last album "Crawfish Groove" (2010) while being in the preparatory phase of their 6th recording.
