Tom Leggett is a guitarist, singer and songwriter from New Orleans, where he's lived and worked for over 25 years. After cutting his teeth playing gigs in his hometown of Little Rock, Arkansas, and then in college bands in Virginia, Tom moved to New Orleans in 1997 with friend and bandmate Aaron Wilkinson (Honey Island Swamp Band) to soak up the rhythms and harmonies of New Orleans and dive into the local music scene. Tom studied guitar under legendary teacher Hank Mackie and, along with Wilkinson, co-founded jazz-funk band idletime in 1999. The band signed with Louisiana Red Hot Records in 2000 and toured steadily for over four years, headlining clubs across the U.S. and sharing bills with groups like the funky Meters, Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Rebirth Brass Band, North Mississippi Allstars and others along the way. Idletime disbanded in 2005 when Hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans and scattered the band's members. Since then, Tom has worked as a freelance guitarist in a wide range of styles, sharing the stage with friends in the Crescent City and on the road, people like Derrick Freeman & Smoker's World, Jenn Howard, The Jameson Family Band, KOAN, Jesse Hiatt, The Rockin' Jake Band, Sunpie & the Louisiana Sunspots, Clint Kaufmann, Corey Henry & the Young Fellas, The Captain Midnight Band, and many others. In February 2013, with the independent release of his debut solo album, Spinnin' My Wheels, Tom Leggett takes the reins of his own roots rock band to perform his compositions. The self-produced album  features 10 original songs with influences from rock, blues and outlaw country, becoming core material for performances beginning in late 2012 and extending throughout 2013 and beyond.
