Brian Young is a self-taught guitarist/vocalist,and songwriter from East St. Louis, Ill. Brian plays the blues on electric guitar,his sound is clean his music is soothing and enjoyable. Brian's goals are to keep the Blues Alive and to keep making good music. He also performs solo or Duo Brian has the passion and is a crowd pleaser. Brian and his Band Won 1999 Battle of The Blues Bands, Irvine Lake, CA.
Brian performs Originals and Covers. Brian is also very proud to have been a semifinalist in the Jimi Hendrix Electric Guitar Competition. Brian keeps the audience both entertained and spellbound with his soulful style of playing his wonderful music.
Brian has worked with numerous musicians such as Lowell Fulsom, Larry (Arkansas) Davis/ Roy Gaines/ Actress/ Vocalist/Ms. Janet Carol/ William Clarke and many others. Brian has released several recordings. Brian's goals are to keep making good music and to keep the Blues Alive.
