The Trio is made up of musicians with diverse backgrounds in Turin's most important musical groups. Active on the Turin Blues scene and beyond since 2008, the Good Gheddo Trio has performed at major festivals such as the Gilgamesh Blues Fest (2013/2014/2015/2016/2017/2018) and live music clubs such as Baladin in Piozzo (CN) and the Blue Note in Milan in 2013. Among its collaborations, the Trio boasts some of the most important names in the Italian and international Blues scene, such as organist Alberto Marsico, Amar Sundy, and Todd Sharpville, to name a few. The Trio's guitar and lead vocals are by Italian-American Vincent "Vinni" Petrone. A native of New York State, USA, where he trained as a guitarist and lived until the early 1980s, Vinni imported his eclectic musical education to Italy, not coincidentally taking place in the Big Apple. The rhythm section is entrusted to the experience of Luca Bozzola (drums) and Paolo Sclaverano (electric bass), irreplaceable and energetic supporting players in a trio capable of engaging and astonishing audiences with original compositions, as well as soulful hits by Albert King and Ray Charles. ALBERO MARSICO Alberto Marsico is regarded as one of the finest organists on the European scene. He has collaborated with some of the greatest names in the jazz world, including Jimmy Cobb, Bobby Durham, Kenny Burrell, Joey De Francesco, Fabrizio Bosso, Jimmy Witherspoon, Enrico Rava, Jesse Davis, and Alvin Queen. He has performed and recorded worldwide: Los Angeles, San Francisco, Moscow, Sydney, Singapore, Oslo, Tokyo, Berlin, Madrid, Paris, Amsterdam, and Brussels, and has held seminars at numerous European conservatories.
