Empty Can is led by Dave Glynn—an excellent songwriter, vocalist, and rhythm guitarist. After nearly four years away from the studio, they return with an album featuring fourteen tracks full of good vibes and a wide range of influences, spanning folk, roots-Americana, rock and roll, and, naturally, the blues. Rounding out the lineup alongside Glynn are Johnny Mack on lead guitar and organ, JD Klatt on bass, Rich Van Ham on harmonica and percussion, and Paul Wegman on drums. It is music designed for anyone looking to have a good time and get moving, free from harshness or pretensions that aim for anything beyond the sheer enjoyment of the music itself.
