Great stuff man. Have listened to the whole album and enjoyed all of the songs. Keep Pushing brother... People check this guy out, great uprising artist!!!
American music throughout history has heavily revolved around folklore and superstition. Growing up in the Ozark Mountains of north Arkansas, Justin Kaleb Driggers understood this at a very young age. He took his music to Muscle Shoals, Alabama, and a collaboration with singer/songwriter and producer Gary Nichols gave JKD the remedy he had been looking for. His Ozark influences had now become intertwined with the Muscle Shoals Sound and the music developed a new life of it’s own.
In his debut album, entitled ‘Homesick Blues’, you’ll hear stories ranging from love lost and murder, to ghost tales and victories. JKD’s all-original lyrics paint a vivid picture in the listener’s mind that evokes a wide range of emotions. On ‘Homesick Blues’ you’ll find light-hearted songs such as “Until Dawn” and “Forever Mine”, complimented by dark folk tales such as “6pm” and “Sally Jo”. Justin Kaleb Driggers’ ‘Homesick Blues’ will strike a flame in the listener’s soul and make a lasting impression that can’t easily be shaken.
